03 Apr Previewing Tech Triangle U’s Open Office Week
Exciting companies abound here in the Brooklyn Tech Triangle.
Want to meet a DUMBO-based company that created a CampStove that generates heat and also charges electronics? Or check out a green chemicals manufacturer located at the Brooklyn Navy Yard? Or visit a Downtown Brooklyn company that hosts mud-run competition courses, better known as Tough Mudder, “probably the toughest event on the planet”?
You’ve got your chance with Open Office Week. For one week this month, 11 incubators and companies in the Brooklyn Tech Triangle will open their doors to college students in Downtown Brooklyn.
It’s all part of Tech Triangle U, a week-long series of events from April 21 to 27 to connect the tech, creative, and academic communities in the Brooklyn Tech Triangle.
Open Office Week follows an open house model, where students who have registered for a spot can meet company representatives and get a sense of the office’s culture and mission. In aggregate, these 11 offices will offer 35 meet and greet sessions, accommodating hundreds of students in the form of tours, presentations, happy hours, and Q&A.
